GISEC GLOBAL 2025, the world’s third-largest cybersecurity event and the biggest in the Middle East and Africa, wrapped up on Thursday with 11 new Guinness World Records — a milestone honoring innovation, industry leaders, and institutions shaping the future of cybersecurity worldwide. Held from 6–8 May 2025 across eight halls at the Dubai World Trade Centre, the event marked a historic achievement.
The UAE Government CyberSecurity Council, host of GISEC Global 2025, achieved 11 Guinness World Records, including the largest number of nationalities and participants in various cyber training and competitions. Records covered interactive cyber training, dark web intelligence simulations, ransomware awareness sessions, a global “Capture the Flag” contest, and the largest cybersecurity awareness lessons on ransomware and cyberbullying, alongside the title of the largest cybersecurity event
